Phoned at 9am 4th in the queue offered appt for 12.15 but opted for a call back. Receptionist very polite & helpful. Dr called back & also very helpful.

Mostly the receptionist are very helpful. Passing on messages seems to need attention. However I found that Getting an appointment is very difficult Getting a blood paperwork to get a test can take some days, which leads to either taking medication (antibiotics) before the results are in. Which in my case has been the wrong decision. I seem to get urine infections but again tests can take a long time to get notified especially if is near a weekend, so treatment is delayed. Advising of a negative (or no issues) test results are not communicated, when indeed a negative may mean further investigation is required or at least a conversation. I also feel that the varying conditions my age group experience are looked at individually and I don’t feel that my overall health is looked at in the round. There is so many messages telling us don’t stew about anything that is worrying you “call your GP” this is not the case in reality, I for one feel given the difficulties in just getting an appointment negates this message. I would love to feel I can talk to my doctor without putting pressure on her work load.

The surgery actually contacted me to check on my well being after an operation and moving into immunotherapy. Got to see the Dr very quickly and it was good to talk to him.

Initial e consultation was OK but proposed face to face was, I felt, to far in future in circumstances. A visit to Surgery resulted in appointment to see Paramedic Practitioner that day
